Abstract
An integrated control system for clarifying through the content of non-fatty dry solids in the effluent waters of the centrifuges, is presented for information and discussion purposes. The system is based on a study performed by the Engineer Whiting on the theoretical content of water necessary to achieve a quicker and more effective refining process as well as a much more stable performance, than the one provided by the traditional control technique of dilution through equal proportions (1:1). This article presents a series of behavior observed during the last three years of utilization of this technique and the performing of the analysis in this section, compared to external factors, with the hope of finding influences on the behavior of the clarifying method.
