| dc.description | The efficiency and quality in the almond recovery is directly affected by the good performance of the crusher "Ripple - Mill" type. With the original equipment a proved efficiency of 92% is obtained, which is not constant because of the premature slow waste of the piece that form it. This work shows the changes in the design and the rotor materials and the slow waste plates, thus achieving low maintenance equipment. The follow up of its performance during the last 23 months shows very positive results achieving breaking performance of a consistent 96%. Works can still be done to produce a smaller sized rind (when Dura varieties are processed) to make the separation process more efficient. | en-US |
| dc.description | La eficiencia y calidad en la recuperación de almendra está directamente afectada por el buen funcionamiento de los rompedores tipo "Ripple -Mill". Con los equipos originales se obtiene una eficiencia comprobada del 92%, la cual no es constante debido al desgaste prematuro de las piezas que lo componen. En este trabajo se muestran los cambios en el diseño y materiales del rotor y las placas de desgaste logrando un equipo de bajo mantenimiento. El seguimiento de su funcionamiento durante los últimos 23 meses muestra resultados muy positivos llegando a eficiencias de rompimiento de los 96% consistentes. Todavía pueden hacerse trabajos para producir un tamaño de cáscara más pequeña (cuando se procesan variedades Dura) para hacer el proceso de separación más eficiente. | es-ES |
