The biological control of pests of tropical crops, including oil palm, coconut, coffee, cocoa and fruit and forest trees, is discussed. Particular reference is made to the use of auxiliary insects, entomopathogens, olfactory and visual trapping methods, cultural techniques, and tolerant plant material.
