Discussions at the Cocoa Pests and Diseases seminar organized by CRIG (Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana), held in Accra, Ghana, on 610 Nov. 1995, are briefly reported. The topics covered during the 10 sessions included chemical control of cocoa mirids; Phytophthora diseases; witches' broom [Crinipellis perniciosa] in Latin America; and viral diseases and vectors.
