| dc.description | The quality control system used in Cenipalma's Leaf and Soil Analysis Laboratory refers to the mechanisms used to guarantee that the results are true and can be reproduced. This quality control system includes two levels : the internal control, which makes reference to the measures established in the laboratory to control all of the activities which form part of the analysis process and the external quality control, which is made up of the participation in cooperation programs with other similar laboratories. The results found during the years 1998, 1999 and 2000 with the statistical variables that are used to evaluate the quality, show that besides having initiated the laboratory's operation within the international quality standards, there has been a continued improvement on this subject. The variation coefficients of the different analyses are low and this allows the laboratory to guarantee to the users that the variability of the analyses of reference samples will be less than a standard deviation. | en-US |
| dc.description | El sistema de control de calidad utilizado en el Laboratorio de Análisis Foliares y de Suelos de Cenipalma hace referencia a los mecanismos utilizados para garantizar que los resultados sean veraces y reproducibles. Este sistema de control de calidad comprende dos niveles: el control interno, el cual hace referencia a las medidas establecidas en el laboratorio para controlar todas las actividades que hacen parte del proceso de análisis, y el control de calidad externo, que consiste en la participación en programas de cooperación con otros laboratorios similares. Los resultados encontrados durante los años 1998, 1999 y 2000 con las variables estadísticas que se utilizan para evaluar la calidad, muestran que además de haber iniciado la operación del laboratorio dentro de los estándares internacionales de calidad, ha habido un mejoramiento continuo en esta materia. Los coeficientes de variación de los diferentes análisis son bajos y ello permite que el laboratorio garantice a los usuarios que la variabilidad en los análisis de las muestras de referencia sea inferior a una desviación estándar. | es-ES |
