Abstract
Hand lifting is the post-harvesting system used traditionally at the Research Station Palmar de La Vizcaína (RSPV). In 2009 there was another system that was implemented at RSPV in another area, for beginning a technical and economical evaluation, comparing these two systems. Cable way and hand lifting were the systems in evaluation, but in the case of cable way it was necessary to make a process of implementation to guarantee the optimal performance and operation of the system. Some activities of this implementation are described in this article, and the results of this process are showed.
