Abstract
This article presents the experience of Aceites Manuelita S.A., which chose to implement the drip irrigation system in the nursery of its new oil palm project in the Casanare Department. This has brought benefits such as the reduction in the time that plants remain in the nursery, 36% reduction in water consumption and 7.5% and 34.7% in the amount of nutrients applied (N, P, K, Mg and B). Este artículo presenta la experiencia de la empresa Aceites Manuelita S.A., que escogió para aplicar el sistema de riego por goteo en el vivero de su nuevo proyecto de palma africana en el departamento de Casanare. Hacerlo le ha reportado beneficios como que se ha disminuido el tiempo en vivero de las plantas, al igual que en 36% el consumo de agua y entre 7,5 y 34,7% la cantidad de nutrientes aplicados (N, P, K, Mg y B).
