Abstract
Palmas del Cesar, a Colombian company located in the Central oil palm-growing region, is successfully implementing a strategy of sustained growth with third parties. The creation of a supplier service unit has helped the company achieve its goals, as it has served as a bridge to disseminate technology and to provide training to ensure that farmers in their areas of influence embrace an oil palm culture, which implies a long-term vision of the crop in terms of sustainability Palmas del Cesar, una empresa colombiana situada en la Zona Central palmera del país, viene aplicando con éxito su estrategia de crecimiento sostenido con terceros. La creación de una unidad de servicios al proveedor le ha permitido alcanzar sus metas, en la medida en que ella ha funcionado como puente para difundir tecnología y hacer capacitación hasta lograr que los cultivadores de sus áreas de influencia se ?contagien? de una cultura palmera, la misma que implica ver el cultivo con ojos del largo plazo en términos de sostenibilidad.
