Abstract
Hand lifting is the post-harvesting system used traditionally at the Research Station Palmar de La Vizcaína (RSPV). In 2009 there was another system that was implemented at RSPV in another area, for beginning a technical and economical evaluation, comparing these two systems. Cable way and hand lifting were the systems in evaluation, but in the case of cable way it was necessary to make a process of implementation to guarantee the optimal performance and operation of the system. Some activities of this implementation are described in this article, and the results of this process are showed.El alce manual ha sido el sistema de postcosecha usado tradicionalmente en el Campo Experimental Palmar de La Vizcaína (CEPV). En 2009 otro sistema fue adoptado allí, pero en un área diferente, con el objetivo de realizar una evaluación técnica y económica comparando los dos sistemas. El alce manual y el cable vía fueron los sistemas evaluados, pero en el caso de este último fue necesario llevar a cabo un proceso de implementación para garantizar su óptimo montaje y operación. Las actividades más importantes de dicha implementación junto con sus resultados, se describen en este artículo.
