Abstract
Challenges in the rural context are key to the modern world of work, especially regarding the present and future social sustainability of business operations and rural-based companies. In this sense, the provision of decent work becomes a means for achieving a more equitable social dimension that generates positive conditions for all the parties involved and contributes at the same time to the cons- truction of an atmosphere of peace.Los desafíos en el sector rural son claves para el futuro del mundo del trabajo, especialmente con miras a la sostenibilidad social presente y futura de las operaciones de las compañías. El trabajo decente es un medio para alcanzar una dimensión social justa, que genere condiciones positivas para todas las partes involucradas y contribuya a la construcción de un ambiente de paz.
