Abstract
One of the challenges of the palm oil sector in Colombia is to increase the productivity of the crop, considering that it is below the achievable potential, where adequate management of the crop with the best practices could mitigate this gap. Therefore, it is important to adjust all the agronomic practices that allow the crop to achieve the best yields, where the harvest is one of them and the reason for this research.Uno de los retos del sector palmicultor en Colombia es incrementar la productividad del cultivo, ya que se encuentra por debajo del potencial alcanzable, y una medida que podría mitigar esta brecha son las mejores prácticas en los cultivos. Por lo tanto, es importante ajustar todas las labores agronómicas que permitan alcanzar los mejores rendimientos del cultivo; entre ellas está la cosecha, objeto de esta investigación.
