Abstract
Information is presented on medium-term oil palm fresh fruit bunch (FFB) processing costs using data collected from three mills in the states of Perak, Pahang and Johore, Malaysia, for the period 1992-95. Unit cost of production, cost components andsources of cost increases, physical performance, and productivity aspects are covered. Despite a 19% increase in total operating cost, the unit cost of FFB processing remained relatively stable from M 11ref.
