Abstract
There have been four main stages in natural rubber specification. The first three correspond to the type of rubber involved (jungle rubber, estate rubber in sheet and last crumb block form). The fourth was identified following a series of surveys ofFrench natural rubber consumers. This current stage represents a move towards tailoring quality to suit every purchaser.
